Abstract

This study aims to determine the social behavior of adolescents in kampung arus maybrat regency, to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of adolescent social behavior in kampung arus maybrat regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, documentation methods. Data analysis uses several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Analysis of adolescent emotions and social attitudes. In accordance with the limits of the research problem, the social behavior of adolescents studied focused on 4 things, namely emotions and attitudes towards others, social adaptation, empathy, and social responsibility. Social attitudes adolescents rarely participate in social and religious activities but only in the month of ramadan. Social adaptation adolescents often do not want to adapt to society because they prefer to join their friends, empathy adolescents sometimes still help others but help as necessary because they themselves are busy with their own affairs so that the most often helped are their own peers. Some factors that influence social behavior are family factors, school factors, social environment factors (peergroup) and internal factors in adolescents, namely price (self esteem) and intelligence factors (intelligence).
