Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the students’ perception and satisfaction inthe kampus mengajar program at seventh semester of Universitas PendidikanMuhammadiyah sorong. The design of this research is survey method. The samplechosen by the researcher consisted of 8 students from the English Education , PGSD,PGPaud, PPKn, PTI, Biology, Mathematics and Science programs at UNIMUDASorong, who had participated in the kampus mengajar program. In collecting data, theresearcher used questionnaire and interview, it is consist of 25 close-endedquestionnaire which cover the main answer to students’ satisfaction. The interviewconsist of 7 questions which aim to answer students’perception. The research resultsshow that there are various student perception, including that the kampus mengajarprogram is a good program where students gain new experiences, build relationshipsbetween colleagues, schools and field supervisors, develop skills such as teaching,creating learning media, overcoming nervousness. and can prepare themselves toenter the world of work, on the other hand, there are those who think that themounthly money they receive is very insufficient considering that not all students areplaced in places close to their place of domicile and also transportation costs aredifferent in each region as well as 20 unit deductions not all semester credits receivedcan be converted into courses because each study program has certain policies. Basedon the results of the questionnaire, an average of 76.3% of students felt satisfied, onthe other hand there were those who felt dissatisfied with the 20 credit unitdeductions received, the selection system implemented which was consideredinappropriate, delays in getting monthly money such as that have been determined,supervisors who do not fully control and placement school
